Sailing Safety Briefing

  • Sailing Can Be Dangerous!

  • You are responsible for YOUR safety! Be Safe!

  • Life vests required for 12 and under. 

  • Life vest required for everyone when wind reaches 20 knots

  • Life vest advised for everyone, at all times.

  • Life vest locations:

    • Deck Locker #1 - Starboard Side

    • Deck Locker #2 - Port Side 

    • Down below, behind cabin couch.

  • Deck Locker #1: - Starboard Side

    • Almost All Emergency Equipment

    • Three Fire Extinguishers

    • Flare Gun & Hand Held Flares

    • Largest First Aid Kit - All First Aid Needs​

    • Emergency Bilge Pump

    • Emergency Tiller - Steering

    • Night Time Lanterns

    • Additional Lines

    • Emergency Knife & Toolbox

  • Boom swings back and forth. Wind can cause an unexpected swing. Keep your head lower than boom.

  • Sailboats heel or lean over by design up to 45 degrees.  The boat starts to self correct 35 to 40 degrees thanks to science. We target 30 degree max.​

  • No Smoking, No Red Wine (It stains), No Excessive Drinking, Use Cup Holders, No Stepping on Deck Windows,  No Jumping On Deck, Use Three Points of Contact,
